DjVu Reader для Mac OS

DjView – это русская версия DjVu Reader для ноутбуков MacBook, моноблоков iMac и компьютеров Mac PRO, работающих под управлением операционной системы Mac OS X. Программа не опубликована в AppStore, скачать ее можно только с официального сайта по ссылке ниже на странице.

Последняя версия DjView бесплатна для использования в личных и коммерческих целях неограниченное количество времени, без trial периода. После установки, книги djvu на Mac OS ассоциируются с программой и открываются в ней двойным кликом мыши.

Интерфейс DjVu Reader схож с версией для Windows – в центре также расположено окно просмотра, слева и сверху панели навигации и инструментов. Перемещаться по открытой книге можно скролом, переключая главы на панели слева, или переходя по ссылкам в оглавлении.

Номер открытой страницы отображается в окошке сверху. Для быстрого перехода на другую страницу просто измените ее номер в этом же окне.

Масштабом и видом страниц можно управлять кнопками на панели инструментов, поддерживается разворот на весь экран и изменение вида отображения с непрерывного на попарный.

Excellent for the price

Very solid program, excellent for the price. Opens files quickly. Converts to pdf about 3-4 pages per second (a standard book of text, no graphics). Seems like very good value (I’ve been using it for half a day).

I was concerned that another reviewer disliked the scrolling options. I’m not sure what that reviewer had in mind. The program has four display modes: single page, single page continuous, two pages, and multiple pages. Combined with arrow keys or trackpad i can get everything i want for navigation — it all works quite well. There is no ability to rotate pages, that is true, but it’s not a functionality i need personally. I’m quite satisfied with it.

Easy to use and elegant

I tried out a few different free DjVu viewers but didn’t find one I liked, so I decided it was worth paying a few dollars for something good. This app is definitely worth it! The search function is great, the viewing feels very natural, and I like the fact that I can toggle between different display modes (scrolling vs. single page, sidebar off/on). Totally happy with my purchase!

Preserves bookmarks

Title says all. I have tried many different programs to convert djvu to PDF and this is the fist one which ACTUALLY preserves the bookmarks. Also the whole app is much nicer than the others.
